Over the past few months, I’ve been working on delivering content for our resume site, Resume Sparrow, in order to help you perfect your resume. Today I’m going to talk about some other things that Sparrow Company does, including executive search and staffing.
When I first started my career 25 years ago, I was on temporary desks, which gave me the ability to work many different jobs. Closer to the year 2000, I started filling jobs for the cement industry and industrial metal industry.
We’ve grown in the scope of services we offer.
Sparrow Company was started in 2009 at the height of the recession, and I was primarily working with direct placement opportunities. In 2013, Sparrow Company became incorporated in Mexico, where we also recruit for tier 1, 2, and 3 manufacturing companies focused on general manufacturing and the automotive industry.
Yes, we’ve grown a lot, and we’ve grown in the scope of services we offer. Right now, there are three main services:
1. Executive search. We just got done placing a CFO with a publicly traded company.
2. Temporary work. We have temp workers operating in California, Georgia, Alabama, Nevada, and soon in Texas.
3. Recruiting projects. If a company needs to ramp up the hiring of hourly personnel, for example, we can help with that through our teams in Mexico and the U.S.
