Today we’re introducing you to Marien Villar, one of our great recruiters.

Marien Villar is one of Sparrow Company’s great recruiters, and today she’s joined us for a quick interview about her experience working with our company.

Marien resides in Monterrey, Mexico, and has been working with Sparrow Company for a year and a half. She supports clients in both the U.S. and Mexico, mostly in direct placement recruiting. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering, and this degree has helped tremendously in parlaying her talents to the recruiting world. For her, it’s made everything easier, especially in terms of the methodologies used in recruiting.

Prior to working at Sparrow Company, she was a national project manager in Mexico where she managed a team of 15 professionals in different parts of the country. She was also in charge of recruiting and managing the intern programs, payroll, and administration. In total, she recruited 500 interns for different multinational companies.

“We put all our effort into understanding our clients’ needs, culture, and personality so they find the right candidate.”

Her favorite parts of recruiting are helping organizations add value with top talent, being an extended part of their team, and providing professionals with a better opportunity in their careers. Her favorite part of working with Sparrow Company is how we put all our effort into understanding our clients’ needs, culture, and personality so they find the right candidate. She also enjoys the process of working with them as a team and making them feel satisfied with our service.

She enjoys working for a binational company because it allows her to build relationships on each side. We have a lot of fun working together as a team and learning about different cultures along the way. Most people don’t realize that we offer a whole line of temporary services for both countries besides direct placement recruiting, but Marien still prefers that to temporary recruiting.

We want to thank Marien for joining us today. She’s contributed so much to our team since she’s been here and we appreciate everything she does for us, our clients, and their candidates. If you have any questions or resume needs, please feel free to call or email me. I hope you have a great work week and a happy holiday season!
